Lady Bay Festival at home

ABOUT
Here at Lady Bay Festival HQ, we’ve been thinking about how the next festival could really benefit the community during these challenging times so we’ve working on an idea to run a ‘stay at home’ festival on Saturday 6th June. We want to offer to the same great festival experience that we usually do but from the safety and comfort of your own home.

BANDS/PERFORMERS
Live music is at the heart of the festival and we want to offer the same amazing live music experience at this online event. If you or your band/act would like to would like to take part, please send us your videos to ladybayfestival@gmail.com.

  1. Videos should be 10, 15 or 20 minutes long and could take the form of previous footage of live performances or new videos made during isolation. We encourage you to be as creative as you’d like!
  2. Each video should include an introduction about your act/performance, followed by a short message about our front-line workers and the charity we are supporting to help with donations
  3. Whether you choose a 10, 15 or 20 minute video to submit, you need to stick closely to these timings to allow compilation into one-hour time-slots
  4. All content should be suitable for family audience
  5. Recordings should be in landscape (if using a phone) and need to be emailed to us by Wednesday the 27th May to give enough time for editing ahead of the live online event
  6. We will endeavour to include as many acts as possible and are keen to support local acts where we can but we reserve the right not to include your submission at our own discretion

STALLS
We’re been fortunate to have some wonderful businesses take up stalls at Lady Bay Festival over the years so we wanted to find an innovative way to include stallholders in our virtual festival. To this end, we’re going to run advertisement breaks in between bands on our YouTube channel and would like small local businesses to submit short video adverts to promoting their business.

  1. Please send promotional videos/advertisements to ladybayfestival@gmail.com with a brief description of your business
  2. Videos should be 30 seconds long to will allow us to edit together into a full ad break
  3. Recordings should be in landscape (if using a phone) and need to be emailed to us by Wednesday the 27th May to give enough time for editing ahead of the live online event
  4. All content should be suitable for family audience.
  5. We will endeavour to include as many videos as possible and are keen to support local business where we can but we reserve the right not to include your submission at our own discretion

FOOD & DRINK VENDORS
Although we’ll all be at home for this year’s festival, we’d love to still be able to offer an exciting range of refreshments to enhance the festival experience. If you’re a food and/or drink vendor who can safely provide refreshments for collection or delivery within Lady Bay during the online event we’d love to hear from you. We would also ask for video content outline what you have on offer, alongside the advertisements from stalls. If you would be interested in running a catering outlet on the day please get in touch: ladybayfestival@gmail.com. Please note that food hygiene and social distancing safety measures will the sole responsibility of each vendor.
