For one glorious day each summer, Lady Bay is transformed into the site of the year’s most exciting festival featuring live music, stalls, lovely food and drink and excellent real ales from Castle Rock Brewery.
From humble beginnings in 2012, the festival has gone from strength to strength and, in 2016, we welcomed our first ‘big name’ headliner, Nigel Clark from Dodgy. Our audiences were delighted, showing up in their hundreds for the chance to see such a renowned act in their own backyard … and for free! 2017 saw us build on our reputation for bringing national-profile acts to our growing neighbourhood festival with Terrorvision’s Tony Wright closing the festival to record audiences. There was a lot to live up to this year, with expectations high to keep up the standard of headliner. Fortunately we were able to secure Mark Morriss of the Bluetones, and excitement is already building for what we hope to the be the biggest and best festival yet.
The Lady Bay Festival raises funds for the Lady Bay Community Fund, which is available to organisations or individuals in Lady Bay who need assistance with funding for events or projects.
The Lady Bay Festival is made possible by the support of the committee, our partners, supporters and sponsors. Many thanks for making these events happen.
Special thanks to our main sponsor Castle Rock Brewery and the Poppy and Pint for all their help and support.
